Caravanboat "Departure One" Premiere at the Boot Holland 2019
You are looking for a cabin boat with everywhere headroom and a terrace, a houseboat, a pleasure boat up to 50hp, a caravan with walkable roof or a Tiny house?
The Caravanboat "Departure One" offers all this in one and is also suitable for winter use.
It is a type of symbiosis of houseboat and caravan.
You can on the one hand lauch the Caravanboat to water at any place, leave it in a harbor and navigate all inland or coastal waters up to 50hp (boat license free up to 15hp in Germany).
On the other hand, the Caravanboat remains on land on a purpose-built trailer, which ensures the functionality of a caravan.
With an appropriate SUV all roads are passable worldwide.
With the trailer, the Caravanboat has a total length of 9 meters and a width of 2.5 meters.
A hinged door can be opened in the middle of the panoramic window and serves as an exit door and access to the roof.
There is sleeping place for 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children inside. For this purpose, 2 single beds 80 / 200cm at the bow are available, which can also be connected as a huge lying area 240 / 200cm. At the rear the dining table can be converted to a bed area of 100 / 200cm. The sleeping areas can be separated by a door.
The helm is located in the middle. 2 cameras give a good all-round view.
The kitchen is equipped with a 2 burner ceramic hob or alternatively with gas. The 90-liter refrigerator and a microwave / grill / oven complete the concept.
There is a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The chemical toilet can also be swapped against a gas toilet.
The enclosed space is 7.8 meters long and has a standing height of two meters.
On the roof a storage box can be installed.
On the back is a half covered terrace with an optional gas grill.
The roof is walkable up to 350kg and can be equipped with a table and a bench, so you can enjoy the best view.
The Caravanboat is a Tiny Houseboat / Caravan with a seawater resistant aluminum hull.
With solar panels on the roof, the Caravanboat is able to operate autonomously for a few days.
The Caravanboat is delivered with a shore power connection of 230 volts and water tanks of 60 liters each.
The heater is a petrol heater with 3kW. Optionally, an infra-red heater can be installed for longer stay on land.
Winterproof isolation; the roof is insulated with 40mm and the walls with 30mm XPS. The hull bottom is filled with 200mm PU insulation covered with a 30mm insulated XPS plate.
As the dealer of Caravanboat, Goliath is the first to present the Departure One in the Netherlands at expo Boot Holland 2019.
