The Greek shipyard TECHNOHULL®, leader in the production of high-performance RIB’s, is preparing a number of important new products and innovations for Boot Dusseldorf 2018 (20-28 January).

The main German boating event won’t be just an occasion to admire two versions of the 90mph* SEDNA999G5, the TECHNOHULL® bestseller, and the yard’s flagship, the Omega 41, (in its 3x400hp outboard version), but also to discover the many new ideas from TECHNOHULL® for 2018.

An upcoming year of modernization lies in - wait for TECHNOHULL® - and it will regard a wide range of products. It begins with a series of technological changes applied to the entire revisited range, the most notable of which is a new and innovative trademarked hull shape that improves the already high leveled performance and economy without losing safety and comfort.

These are all fundamental aspects of TECHNOHULL® high-performance models and part of the yard’s savior-faire since its creation in 2005. The yard has produced a series of models that are so versatile that they are ideal both as luxury tenders for large yachts or as elegant medium range cruisers.

With TECHNOHULL® as a protagonist of the international boating industry over the latest years, BOOT Dusseldorf 2018 will also witness the unveiling of change and growth in the yard’s dealers network. This is crucial not just for sales in itself, but also for the optimization of the after-sales service for owner’s.

SEADNA999: PERFORMANCE AND COMFORT
At the TECHNOHULL® stand at BOOT Dusseldorf (Hall 5 / B46), the flagship of the yard, the SEADNA999G5, will be on display with two versions. The yard offers two outboard propulsion options (along with several inboard-outboard alternatives): twin outboard engines of either 350 or 400 horsepower.

With a length of 10.3 meters and a beam of 2.8, the seaDNA999G5 can adapt to a wide range of owners. This is easily seen in the three versions of the bow area (the models on display in Dusseldorf will include the Delta configuration) that the yard offers.

Open: Here we have a V-shaped settee that conceals a spacious storage area, while the raised step at the peak considerably facilitates embarking and disembarking, making this version ideal as a tender for large yachts.
Delta: Perfect for relaxing daily use and enjoyable anchorages immersed in nature thanks to the sun-bathing area that covers the entire bow area.
Cabin: Dedicated to those who want to enjoy short cruises, this layout is characterized by a cabin with a double bed and an enclosed bathroom. Light and air are assured by the large companionway.

All phases of construction take place in-house, within the yard’s premises and are performed by highly specialized technicians following rigid international standards.

A TRUE “TOY FOR BOYS”!
The ergonomic center console is equipped with two wrap-around shock-absorbing seats, perfect for safe and controlled steering even in rough seas. The instrument panel includes a “Smart Central Console Touchscreen”. The optional mobile kitchen with sink and burner is located aft of the console seats. A real “toy for boys”!

MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM ASTERN
While the yard chooses to offer three versions of the bow area, astern they offer four!
Three of the four versions are for the outboard motor propulsion systems and let the owner chose between an elongated divan, a U-shaped settee, or a recessed sun-deck.
In all three versions the two bathing platforms with boarding ladders next to the motors are perfect for afternoons at anchor and refreshing showers.

The yard’s inboard propulsion option includes an elongated divan and an extra-large sun-bathing area above the engine room. A classic solution whose strength is its convenience.

EXTREME PERFORMANCE
As we stated above, performance and handling are among the fundamental strengths of the Alimos’ yard. Owners may choose from a wide range of propulsion systems for the seaDNA999G5 to take full advantage of the deep-V hull that guarantees an easy ride over the waves and perfect control even when making maneuvers at high speed.

The outboard version offers four horsepower options (2x250hp, 2x300hp, 2x350hp, 2x400hp) that ensure astounding performance, from a top speed of 68 knots for the base version (with a cruising speed of 50 knots) to a top speed of 90 mph* (70 cruising) with the twin 400hp option.

The inboard version includes two options: a single engine with either 220 or 370hp or twin engines of 265hp each. The seaDNA99G5 has a top speed of 63 knots depending on the configuration chosen.

Marina Vernicos was born in Athens, Greece. She studied Communications and Photography at Emerson College of Boston and Business Administration at Harvard Extension School. Since 2001, she has showcased a number of solo and group exhibitions in distinguished galleries and museums around the world, such as the museum of Cycladic Art in Greece, Museum of Louvre and Eiffel Tower in Paris, Hangaram Art Museum in Korea, London, Monaco and NY. She has been awarded the prizes “Sandro Botticelli” at the Palazzo Giucciardi Bongianni, Florence and in France “La Grand Exposition Universelle” at the Eiffel Tower. She has collaborated on photo projects with companies such as Mercedes, Perrier, Napapijri, Folli Follie, Sani Resort and was selected as an ambassador for Hermès.
