QUICKSILVER ANNOUNCES CAPTUR: THE NEW NAME FOR A COMPREHENSIVE RANGE OF BOATS DEDICATED TO FISHING
Following the successful launch of the ACTIV range in 2011, Quicksilver announces another development for 2012 Model Year: Under the new name “CAPTUR”, Quicksilver is offering open fishing models, pilothouse fishing boats and the range of inboard-powered Arvor models.
The QUICKSILVER CAPTUR range is designed to offer fishing customers an outstanding choice, in terms of size of boat, equipment levels and a choice of propulsion. For both QUICKSILVER CAPTUR and ACTIV ranges, the company has already announced a very significant investment in new product development over the next three years – to continue to provide customers with products_old that set the pace in terms of design and engineering.
Steve Coultate, Vice President of the company said: “the Activ and Captur ranges represent the new face of Quicksilver: In the 2010 and 2011 period, we will have launched 9 all-new Quicksilver products_old. These have been extremely well-received by our customers, the Activ 675 won European Power Boat of the Year, and we have had to double our manufacturing capacity on each new model to meet demand. Our philosophy is simple: understand our customer’s needs and design great products_old to meet these needs, create new solutions and fresh designs to really give customers value. That is what we are committed to”.
The CAPTUR models are being shown at the leading international boat shows such as La Rochelle, South Hampton, Genoa, Barcelona, Paris and Düsseldorf as well as other regional boat shows throughout Europe.
